The Hurstpierpoint Society are celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year and have been looking to donate money to a village project.
It was good to see so many people from the village at St Lawrence Fair on Saturday, both young and old, especially after missing the Fair for 2 years due to the Covid pandemic. We know the amount of time and effort The Fair Committee gives to this event and hope that the Summer Fair print we donated will encourage future Chairmen to keep the event going for many years.
After hearing about the increased cost of everything in these difficult times, the Hurstpierpoint Society wanted to support this event in our anniversary year and have donated £500 to the Fair funds to help with the costs.
